I was retained as a consultant by a European Multi National Company to help and support it's UK subsidary start-up. The specification and implimentation (with a view to the requirements of UK accounting rules) of the financial and accounting systems was undertaken.

Special emphasis on translation and integration with Swiss accounting rules was also necessary. This project spanned a reasonable amount of time. as I worked with the UK Manaaging Director and his staff on an almost daily basis until the subsidary had gain enough financial resource to employ a full-time accountant, to run the implimented procedures and systems.

Within 2 years the subsidary grew it's sales to £2million and supported 6 UK staff. The Multi-National parent Company adopted the framework and procedures used on further European subsidary start-ups.

I was retained as a consultant, by a Manufacturing Company (£10million turnover - 150 employees) to investigate there existing procedures & systems, to see how they could capture, in real-time; costing & contract profitabilty information.

A full review of the Company was undertaken to ascertain if this was possible with their existing systems or what would be required to achieve this. The findings of this investigation, along with a full action plan was presented to the companies Board, which adopted the proposals.

I was then retained to lead a management team of 6 people, which undertook a full cycle anaysis and market research to find the most suitable Manufaturing Software and vendor. I then lead the purchase negotiations with the selected vendor, and finally I was involved in the implimentation of the selected software package throughout the company.
